- Chinese New Year
Happy New Year! I know the day is almost over, but I wanted to give a shout-out! The Lunar New Year is celebrated by not only the Chinese, but by Korean and Vietnamese people too. Even Japan does a celebration (or so my friend has told me).
It’s the year of the Dragon, and I hope he/she comes charging in, fire-breathing and roaring its head off! We need a good start to the year; 2011 was so dismal and full of negativity; I’m keeping my fingers crossed that 2012 will be a whole new ball game with positive change in everything! It also doesn’t hurt that I was born under the sign of the Dragon. Plenty on my plate for this year. I’m still looking for that elusive job, but hoping it will come through soon. As to writing, it’s slow but moving along. I’m not going to hurt my head with how many manuscripts I can write and submit – as long as I’m writing, I’m happy.
