Review of Shadow Chase by Seressia Glass

Now that things have calmed down a bit…

This book is a continuation of Shadow Blade. As I said once before, I love the Egyptian theme mixed in with the urban fantasy of a young woman who serves the Light as a Shadowchaser, chasing down bad demons and such.

Because of the amount of Egyptian lore involved in Ms Glass’ stories, it can slow things down a bit (only a bit though). What I’m missing is the “kick-ass” part of things. Kira Solomon has not kicked enough ass! While a part of the story focuses on her finding out about her past, I want to see the action – I want to know what makes Kira “the most feared Shadowchaser” of the organization. I haven’t seen that yet. But I hope I will in the next book! :)
